Technical Assistance Programs

In addition to helping construct financial packages for our clients, providing technical assistance for their business is essential for their success. Before a loan is made we counsel loan applications on their credit histories and business plan projections. After loan closing, we regularly contact our customers, monthly or bi-weekly, to monitor their record keeping and assist them with any bookkeeping or management problems they have encountered.

Not only do our technical assistants directly help clients in various problem areas but, we have a referral network that can assist in other areas of business management needs in specialized areas. These areas may be legal, tax, or personnel management. Since many of our borrowers are start-ups and lack experience in some management areas, usually the accounting area, we find that regular monitoring pays off in aiding in business success. After five years 97% of CBAC borrowers remain in business.
